Funeral services for Alex Ben Christensen will be held at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church at Holdrege, Nebraska on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Paul Bauman from Trinity Evangelical Free Church of Holdrege officiating. Burial will be at the Prairie Home Cemetery in Holdrege.

Alex Ben Christensen, infant son of Tyler D. and Stacie J. (Nelson) Christensen was born at rest at the St. Luke's Boise Medical Center in Boise, Idaho on Saturday, July 16, 2011.

Alex was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bruce Nelson; and great-grandfathers: John Burgeson and Don Christensen.

Besides his parents, Alex leaves to mourn his passing his brother, Eli; maternal grandparents: Sheryl McClymont and her husband, Reed of Holdrege; paternal grandparents: Linda Reiser and her husband, Bill of Holdrege, Steve Christensen and his wife, Charlene of Holdrege; great-grandparents: Dean and Faye Anderson, Gene and Bev Nelson, JoAnne Burgeson, Alice Richardson all of Holdrege; aunts: Tara Christensen of Scottsdale, Arizona, Shelli Davenport and her husband, Brian and their children, Ryne and Brody of Bellingham, Washington, Melanie VanVleet and her husband, Kyle and their children, Caleb and Andrew of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Jody Hutsell and her husband, Mark of Kearney, Nebraska; uncles: Travis Nelson and his wife, Kazia and their children, Anthony and Kaelina Nelson of Holdrege, and Philip McClymont of Memphis, Tennessee; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege with the family greeting from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A memorial has been established and can be designated to the family.
