A private family graveside service for Antoinette T. Williams will be held at the Arapahoe Cemetery in Arapahoe, Nebraska.
Antoinette Twyla "Toni" Williams, 75 years of age, of Loomis, Nebraska, passed away, on October 31, 2022, at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, Nebraska. Toni was born in Oxford, Nebraska on December 1, 1946, the oldest of four children, born to Orvin and Twyla (Hinz) Debban. She received her primary education from a parochial country school near Arapahoe and later attended and graduated from Arapahoe High School, with the class of 1965. She pursued higher education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
On September 11, 1966, Toni was united in marriage to Robert E. Williams at the Lutheran Church in Arapahoe and to this union, two children were born: Sean and Tina. Shortly after they were married, Robert was drafted into the United States Army and during that time, Toni lived in Lexington, Nebraska, and worked at Harris Laboratories. A few years after Robert's return, the family moved to Loomis.
Toni enjoyed playing bridge, being around animals, and landscaping. She relished being part of the book and travel club, they combined their love of reading and traveling into one group that could read about traveling and then do it. Toni loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was a member of the Nebraska Prairie Museum board, and secretary of the Democratic Women's group.
Toni was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Francis Debban; stepbrother, Wesley Mues; and two brothers-in-law: Terry Draper; and James Williams.
Toni is survived by her husband, Robert Williams of Loomis; two children: Sean Williams and his wife, Merritt of Kearney; Tina Paben and her husband, Joe of Wausa, Nebraska; six grandchildren: Alexandria Garlick; Mikaella Williams; Faith Baum and her husband, Jon; Corinne Paben; Jerry Paben and his wife, Kamryn; Reagan Paben; one great-grandson, Sylas Paben; one brother, Orvin Debban; two sisters: Jeanette Draper; Elizabeth Trail; two step-brothers: Robert Mues and his wife, Roxie and Victor Mues and his wife, Anna; stepsister-in-law: Dwana Broom; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
There will be no visitation or memorial book signing. The family is honoring Toni's wish for cremation.
A memorial has been established in Toni's honor, and kindly suggested to the Nebraska Prairie Museum at 2701 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949.
