A memorial service for Barbara J. Knoedler will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at the Huntley Methodist Church in Huntley, Nebraska with Pastor Jean Clayton officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Bainbridge Cemetery near Huntley.
Barbara Jean Knoedler, 80 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska, formerly of Huntley, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Holdrege Memorial Homes. Barbara was born on April 2, 1944, in Holdrege, to Lloyd and Velma (Berry) Beahm. She graduated from Huntley School in 1963.
On July 31, 1964, she married Rodney Lee Knoedler in Huntley. To this union, the couple was blessed with a daughter, Pamela Sue.
Barbara was a stay-at-home mom for many years and then later pursued a manager position at Ashley's Outlet in Holdrege, Nebraska. Later, accepting a position at Phelps Memorial Hospital in the Admissions Office working there for 30 years.
Barbara enjoyed traveling to see Joseph Hall, a tribute artist who sings as Elvis. They enjoyed camping and spending time with family.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, on December 15, 2010, her son-in-law, Bill Wilson; and a nephew, Scott Beahm.
Barbara leaves to celebrate her life, her daughter, Pam Wilson and fiancé, Jim White; beloved grandson, Gavin Wilson all of Wilcox, Nebraska; brother, Larry Beahm and wife Tania of Huntley, Nebraska; niece, Kristy Landin and husband, Jesse of Huntley; and great nephews and great nieces: Levi, Jenessa, Rylan, and Aria.
There will not be a visitation, viewing or memorial book signing as the family has honored her wish for cremation.
Memorials in Barbara's honor are suggested to the family for future designation.
