Throughout the years, Betty's hobbies included: reading, crocheting, gardening, bowling, and traveling, and seeing new places. On December 13, 1997, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dean.
Besides her husband, and parents; Betty was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Muckerman, and sister, Verna Gesling.
