Family Memorial Services for William L. "Bill" Rogers will be conducted from Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Holdrege, Nebraska on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Murray Jones officiating. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

William Lee "Bill" Rogers, 69 years of age of Holdrege, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, Nebraska. Bill was born on March 16, 1945 at Stevens Point, Wisconsin, the youngest of eleven children born to Orville Bert and Alice May (Smith) Rogers. He received his education at Solomon Juneau High School at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, later receiving his G.E.D. and attended Tech School where he received his welding certificate.

On November 27, 1982, he was united in marriage to Linda Maxine Brown. Bill, Linda and Bill's son, Timothy made their home in Holdrege.

Bill was employed in construction as a welder. Later, he was employed as a caregiver at Bethphage Mission at Axtell and Holdrege where he was employed for 22 years.

Bill enjoyed playing cards, camping, computers, watching TV, yard work, woodworking crafts and telling jokes. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed giving people a hard time.

Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters, two of which died in infancy; and niece, Debbie Hagaman.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Linda Rogers of Holdrege; two sons: Timothy Rogers of Holdrege, Tracy Rogers and his wife, Kathy of Lincoln; two grandchildren: Jordan and Jacob; two sisters: Alma Bolgrin of Briggsville, Wisconsin, Shirley Hagaman of Humble, Texas; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

There will be no visitation as the family has chosen cremation.
A memorial has been established in Bill's honor and will be designated at a later date.
