Graveside Memorial Services and Inurnment for Brenda L. Waggoner will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Alma Cemetery, Alma, Nebraska, with Mr. Don Ehrke officiating.
Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for Faith-Based Services will be followed. The family sincerely encourages each person to make their decision whether to attend Brenda's services based on the best interest of your health, and that of your community.
Brenda Lee Waggoner, 62 years of age, of Alma, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at her home. Brenda was born on May 25, 1958, in Alma, the eldest of three children, to Norman and Darlene (Eden) Noren. She received her education and graduated from Alma High School, with the class of 1976.
Brenda had three daughters from a previous marriage: Rebecca Thulin, Kerry Spence, and Jenny Boehler.
On July 17, 1999, Brenda was united in marriage to Larry V. Waggoner. The family made their home in rural Republican City, Nebraska. The couple enjoyed farming, hunting, and Husker Football. On July 11, 2015, she was preceded in death by Larry.
Brenda enjoyed women's golf league, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Besides her husband, Larry; she was preceded in death by a niece, Shannon L. (Macke) Temme in February 2020; and great-niece, Olivia Grace Temme in 2014.
She leaves to celebrate her life; her daughters: Becky Thulin and husband, Nick of Lincoln, Nebraska; Kerry Spence and her husband, Brandon of Crab Orchard, Nebraska; and Jenny Boehler of North Platte, Nebraska; five grandchildren: Evan and Hudson Thulin; Braylin Pettit; Emmitt Johnson; and Jack Spence; her parents, Norman and Darlene Noren of Alma; sister, Lori Macke and her husband, Tim of Cambridge, Nebraska; brother, Steve Noren and his wife, Chris of Hickman, Nebraska; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A private family visitation will be held. Following the traditional visitation, the family will honor Brenda's wish for cremation.
A memorial has been established in Brenda's honor and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
