She received her primary education in Logan, Kansas, and then graduated from Hill City High School in Hill City, Kansas with the class of 1974.

They made their home in Holdrege for a few years before moving to Cawker City, Kansas, until settling back to Holdrege in 1996. After returning to Holdrege, Candy was employed as a supervisor for The Connection, inbound call center until it closed. At the time of her passing, she was serving as the Assistant Manager of Shopko in Holdrege.
Candy loved gardening, and anything that had to do with flowers. She had a special place in her heart for animals, and raised many different breeds of dogs throughout the years. Candy loved spending time with her family and friends, which included barbeques and playing pitch. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas, and a family ritual had to include watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation together. Most of all, Candy loved watching her seven grandchildren growing up! She loved to dance, and in her spare time, she enjoyed watching KU Basketball. Her selfless demeanor will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Roy and Mary Bell, and Ward and Ida Pimlott; her father, Arnold Pimlott; her brother, Joel Pimlott; nephew, David Wolf; and several beloved aunts, and uncles.
Candy leaves to celebrate her life; her two children: Coby Bryant and his wife, Tiffanie; and Jessica Perez all of Holdrege; seven grandchildren: Tessa, Austyn, and Tasha Perez; RiLee and Reagan Pascoe; and Baylie and Hannah Bryant; one great-granddaughter, Paysleigh Pascoe; her mother, Shirley Luft and her step-father, Dale of Smith Center, Kansas; one brother, Eugene Pimlott and his wife, Rocky of Hill City; one sister, Merri Francis of Beloit, Kansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends she loved dearly.
A private family viewing will be held, and following the family viewing Candy's wish for cremation will take place.
