Funeral Services for Carol Fecht will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Oxford, Nebraska with Pastor Brian Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at the Oxford Cemetery, Oxford.
Carol Ann Fecht, 75 years of age, of Oxford, died unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, June 29, 2019. Carol was born February 11, 1944 in Clay Center, Kansas, the fourth of six children born to Bernard and Lucille (Martin) Loader. She received her education from Clay Center Public Schools in Kansas, graduating with the class of 1962.
On March 4, 1980, Carol was united in marriage to Randal Fecht in Oxford at the First Baptist Church. The couple was blessed with two children: Kim and James. The family made their home in Oxford. Carol was always a hard worker, no matter the job in front of her. She worked various jobs including: Becton-Dickinson, the grocery store, Better Buys and Cowan Feed Store.
Carol enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and spending time with and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed the Pinochle Card Club at the Golden Generation Center.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Ben Fecht; two brothers, Ronnie Loader, in infancy and Darrel Loader; and one niece, Leisa Kehl.
She leaves to celebrate her life; her husband, Randy Fecht of Oxford; her children, Kim Travis and her husband, Richard of Sachse, Texas; and James Fecht of Oxford; two grandkids: Samantha and Joshua of Sachse; three great-grandkids: Stormi-Ann Winters, Elizabeth Winters, and Rebecca Winters; sister, Linda Stirrett and her husband, Ralph of Clay Center, Kansas; two brothers: Bob Loader and his wife, Jerrie of Clay Center; and Charles Loader; brother-in-law, Ron Fecht of Fullerton, Nebraska; sisters-in-law: Roxie Gibb and her husband, Rick of Atlanta, Nebraska; and Rae Lynn Johnson and her husband, Jeff of Amherst, Nebraska; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Fecht of Amherst; along with many extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with the family greeting from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
A memorial has been established in Carol's honor and kindly suggested to the family.
