A celebration of life memorial service for Christopher J. Graf will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska with Reverend Dr. W. Kirwin Stewart, Jr. officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Christopher John Graf, 54 years of age, of Orleans, passed away, on April 4, 2024, at his home. Chris was born in Holdrege on October 4, 1969, the youngest of six children, born to Kenneth Clarence "Pete" and Grace "Darlene" (Goldsbury) Graf. He received his education from Holdrege Public Schools and graduated from Holdrege High School, with the class of 1987.
Chris was married to Holli and to this union CJ and Andrew were born. The marriage later ended in divorce.
On August 4, 2018, Chris was united in marriage to Jennifer Logston in the mountains of Colorado, and to this union, two families became one. Together they enjoyed going to races, concerts, camping, and riding the Harley's, but most of all they loved being together and with their family. Chris was an outdoorsman at heart and he loved to fish, and hunt.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pete on February 10, 2024; sister-in-law, Patty Graf.
Chris is survived by his wife, Jennifer of Orleans; two sons: CJ Graf of Kimball, Nebraska; and Andrew Graf of Orleans; three step-children: Jessica Ruthstrom and her husband, Jonathan of Mankato, Kansas; Christian Strickland and his wife, Jessie of Mankato; Rylee Smith of Orleans; two grandchildren: Emma and Jonathan Ruthstrom; his mother, Darlene Graf of Holdrege; siblings: Pat Graf and his wife, Marsha of Holdrege; Mike Graf and his wife, Poochie of Orleans, Nebraska; James Graf of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Richard Graf and his wife, Linda of Holdrege; Teresa Reeves and her husband, Leonard of Eagle Rock, Missouri; brothers-in-law: Chris Logston and his wife, Rebecca of Albany, New York; Chuck Logston and his wife Tricia of Holdrege; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
There will be no visitation or memorial book signing, the family is honoring Chris' wish for cremation.
A memorial has been established in Chris' honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
