Graveside Services and Interment for Dale C. Adden will be conducted from the Oxford Cemetery at Oxford, Nebraska on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Wes Holen, officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Martin Horn American Legion Post #219 of Oxford in conjunction with the United States Air Force Military Honors Team.

Dale Charles Adden, 90 years of age, of Hemet, California, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012 at his home in Hemet. Dale was born on December 30, 1921 at Oxford, Nebraska, one of eight children of Will Richard and Nellie (Perry) Adden.

He received his education from Oxford Community School, graduating with the class of 1940. Dale then served his country during WW II in the United States Air Force until his honorable discharge at the conclusion of the war.

Dale was united in marriage to LaVerne A. Ferguson in June of 1973, the couple began to make their home in Culver City, California and then relocated to Hemet for the last twenty plus years. Dale's working career consisted of Sales for IBM, dealing with business equipment. Upon their retirement they began traveling to nearly every state in the U.S. in their RV and spent many summers in Dale's home state of Nebraska. He was a caring husband, brother, uncle, and friend to those who knew him. On June 3, 2009 he was preceded in death by his wife, LaVerne.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by one brother, Eldon Adden and his wife, Charlene of Lincoln, Nebraska; one sister, Helen C. Kuck of Orleans, Nebraska; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established in his memory and will be designated at a later date.
