Dale Evar Isaacson, 80 years of age, of rural Elm Creek, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Bertrand Nursing Home in Bertrand, Nebraska. He was born on October 12, 1934 at Holdrege Hospital, the youngest of three children born to Evar E. and Mabel Victoria (Wallander) Isaacson. Dale received his primary education from the District #46 in Phelps County and then Bertrand High School.     Following his education, he was inducted into the United States Army on February 27, 1957 and he was honorably discharged on December 5, 1958. Dale then continued to serve in the Army Reserve for several years.

On January 25, 1959, he was united in marriage to Ella Mae Johnson at the First United Methodist Church in Holdrege and to this union three children were born: Jane, Paula, and Brian. The family made their home for five years in a house across the road east of the Westmark Church and then bought the Walline farm in the Williamsburg Community in 1964, where Dale engaged in farming the remainder of his working years. On April 25, 2000, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae. Due to his failing health, Dale began to make his home at the Bertrand Nursing Home since August of 2014.

Dale was a member of the Williamsburg Methodist Church. His entire life was centered on the farm, cow/calf operation and most of all the time spent with his family.

Besides his parents, and wife, Ella Mae; Dale was preceded in death by one grandson, Cooper Evar Isaacson; brother, Delford Isaacson and his wife, Betty; and brother-in-law, Millard Johnson.

He leaves to mourn his passing; his two daughters: Jane Robison and her husband, Doug of Alma, Nebraska, Paula Lynch and her husband, Todd of Olathe, Kansas; one son, Brian Isaacson and his wife, Dee of Loomis, Nebraska; six grandchildren: Ben Robison and his wife, Reese, Addie and Charlie Robison, Ryan and Connor Lynch, and Wyatt Isaacson; sister, Elizabeth Johnson of Holdrege; two brothers-in-law: Lloyd "Jack" Johnson and his wife, Midge of Holdrege and Gary Johnson and his wife, Rose of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Marjorie Williams and her husband, Earl of Tucson, Arizona; and a host of extended family and friends.
