David G Murray

Celebration of Life Open House for David Murray will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the Education Room at the Ag Building in Holdrege, Nebraska. Private inurnment will be held at a later date.

David Murray, 60 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the Bertrand Nursing Home in Bertrand, Nebraska.  David was born November 11, 1958 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, the third of five children born to Donald and Jo Anne (Lillie) Murray.  David attended Holdrege Public Schools.

David worked at the Holdrege Daily Citizen as a Pressman for close to 20 years.  He also worked at Huss Livestock Barn.  He enjoyed beadwork, knitting, and sewing.

David was preceded in death by; his parents; and sister, Lauri R. Lawson on March 9, 2019.
He is survived by:  his two brothers:  Daniel Murray; and Mark Murray and his wife, Kari all of Holdrege; one sister, Mary Jensen of Holbrook, Nebraska; along with nieces, nephews, and other family members.

There will be no visitation or viewing.  The family is honoring his wish for cremation.

A memorial has been established in David's honor and kindly suggested to the family.
