Memorial Services for Debbie J. Farmer will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska with President Brian Deakin officiating.
Deborah June Farmer, 67 years of age, of rural Huntley, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at her home. Debbie was born January 17, 1951, near Covina, California, third of four children born to Herbert Charles and Lucy Jane (Fish) Robinson.
On December 28, 1971 she was united in marriage to Jeffrey Farmer and to this union four daughters were born: Gina, Mellissa, Sherry, and Lorina. The family made their home in Azusa, California. They later divorced.
In the years that followed, Debbie was blessed with the companionship of Rick Englund and they welcomed a son, Rick, Jr.
Debbie had a giving heart and enjoyed her years at Chrisoma West as a nurse's aide.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. Debbie enjoyed going out to eat with her sweetheart, Rick, most Sundays. They enjoyed driving around the lake.
Besides her parents; she was preceded in death by a daughter, Gina McHenry in 2016; a brother, Gary Robinson and his wife, Madeline.
She leaves to celebrate her life; her significant other, Ricky L. Englund of rural Huntley, Nebraska; one son, Rick A. Englund, Jr. and his wife, Natasha of Kearney, Nebraska; three daughters: Mellissa Voshell of Holdrege; Sherry Farmer of Holdrege and Lorina Farmer and her fiancé, John Blum of Kearney; son-in-law, Daryl McHenry of Tecumseh, Nebraska; four grandkids; a brother, William Robinson and his wife, Judy of Arlington, Virginia; a sister, Barbara Ritner of Wilcox, Nebraska; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
There will be no visitation. The family is honoring Debbie's wish for cremation.
A memorial has been established in Debbie's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
