Delonda Kay Moore, 41 years of age of Bertrand, Nebraska passed away on August 30, 2009 at her home in Bertrand. She was born on November 5, 1967 at Sidney, Nebraska to Daniel and Wyona (Wiegers) Emhovick. She grew up in the Sterling, Colorado area and attended Sterling High School.

She was united in marriage to Larry Metcalf, and to this union, two children were born: Krista and Elijah. Delonda later married Charles Moore. The couple resided in Mississippi until Delonda moved to Bertrand in 2009.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Holdrege, and loved to spend time with her family and friends. Delonda always had a smile for family, friend and foe. She had an amazing gift for unconditional love and complete forgiveness. Those who truly knew her, couldn't help but love her.

She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter, Krista Rock and her husband, Joshua of Braxton, Mississippi; one son, Elijah Metcalf of Bertrand, Nebraska; one granddaughter, Kearstan Metcalf of Braxton, Mississippi; her mother, Wyona Marx of Sterling, Colorado; two brothers, Doug Pankowski and his wife, Cathy of Ainsworth, Nebraska and Dave Hyatt and his wife, Cheryl of Westminster, Colorado, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Besides her first husband, Larry, she was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Emhovick.

There will be no visitation as the family is honoring Delonda's wish for cremation.

A memorial has been established in her memory and will be designated at a later date.
