Donald Eugene Anderson, Jr., "D.J.", or "Bubba", 20 years of age, of rural Overton, Nebraska, departed this life early Tuesday morning, October 16, 2018 due to a multi-fatality car accident between Overton and Elm Creek, Nebraska.  D.J. was born November 8, 1997 in Lexington, Nebraska to Donald E. and Chrystal (Miller) Anderson and baptized at the Nebraska Youth Camp.  He grew up and attended Overton Public Schools, and graduated with the class of 2016.

D.J. enjoyed playing co-ed softball, listening to music and playing the drums.  He was a jokester and enjoyed making people laugh.  D.J. was an avid Texas Longhorn and Washington Redskin fan.  D.J.'s son, Donnie was the highlight of his life.  D.J. was a "momma's boy".  He loved to wrestle with his brother, James "J.D.", who D.J. called "Rerun"; they were night and day, yet very close.  They could tease one another but no one else could.  He always called J.D., "Baby Brother", which made J.D. mad.  Most of all he loved to spend time with his family.

He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Jim Miller; and uncle, Brett Miller.

D.J. leaves to celebrate his life; his mom and step-dad, Chrystal Blythe and Ritch of rural Overton; dad, Donald E. Anderson, Sr. of Cozad, Nebraska; his son, Donald "Donnie" E. Anderson, III of Gibbon, Nebraska;  siblings:  Gabrielle Clark and her husband, Kelley of Cozad; Abbigail Miller and significant other, Andrew Alumit of rural Overton; James "J.D." Anderson of rural Overton; Victoria Anderson of rural Overton; and Desiree Anderson of rural Overton; grandparents:  Vicki Miller of Elm Creek, Nebraska; Walt and Stephanie Snyder of Cozad; Kerry and Marlene Blythe of rural Overton; Glen Robinson of Lexington, Nebraska; and Roger and Sandy (Moon) Anderson of Brady, Nebraska; uncles:  Mike Miller, Richard Blakey, Everette Blakey, Harold Blakey, Bart Green, Glen Strickland, Robert Anderson, Lance Blythe, Jason Headley, Jeremy Beyer and Gordy Lassen; aunts:  April Headley, Jennifer McIntire, Amy Strickland and Alicia Lassen; two nephews:  Carter and Zaylen; and many more aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.
