Donna Jean Eisenhauer

Funeral Services for Donna J. Eisenhauer will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Naponee, Nebraska with Pastor Scott Randall officiating. Interment will follow at the Naponee Cemetery.

Donna Jean Eisenhauer, 68 years of age, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Stillwater Medical Center. Donna was born on September 7, 1947 at the Brewster Hospital in Holdrege, Nebraska, the youngest of four children born to Paul Raymond and Vera Bernice (McCready) Eisenhauer.

She received her education from Naponee Public School, graduating from Naponee High School with the class of 1965. After high school, Donna moved to Ames, Iowa with her sister, Carol and husband, Marvin. She was employed by Younker's Department Store during the summer of 1969, until she moved back home to Nebraska and resided in Holdrege. While in Holdrege, she worked at J.M. McDonald's Department Store from 1969 to 1971, at which time Donna moved to Alma, Nebraska. She was employed by Becton-Dickinson in Holdrege as an Assembly Line Technician. On September 30, 2002, Donna retired after 30 years.

Due to the fact that Donna never married or had children of her own, special bonds were formed with her many nieces and nephews throughout the years.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother in 1991; her father in 1998; sister, Carol Smith and brother, Dale Eisenhauer.

She leaves to celebrate her life; a brother: Paul Lavon and wife, Joyce of Omaha, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Marlene Eisenhauer of Webber, Kansas; brother-in-law, Marvin Smith of Stillwater, Oklahoma; four nieces and their husbands; three nephews and their wives; a host of great-nieces, great-nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held prior to the services at the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Naponee on Tuesday, December 22, 2015.

A memorial has been established in Donna's honor and will be designated at a later date.
