Donna Stout

Private family graveside services for Donna Stout were held on Monday, October 29, 2012 at the Oxford Cemetery at Oxford, Nebraska with Pastor Paul Sowden, officiating.

Donna Darlene Stout, 85 years of age, of McCook, Nebraska (formerly of Oxford) passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the McCook Community Hospital.

Donna was born January 9, 1927 at Oxford, one of eight children born to Joseph and Mabel (Fritzer) Stout. She received her education from Oxford Public Schools. Following her education, Donna continued to reside with her parents until their passing. After her parents passing, she continued to live at Oxford until her health forced her to make her home at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook.

Donna enjoyed music, and was talented with the ability to play the keyboard. She also enjoyed playing cards and Bingo at Hillcrest.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers: Lloyd and Dean Stout; and two sisters: Pauline Stout and Maxine Rightmire.

She is survived by two brothers: Dr. Kenneth Stout of Benkelman, Nebraska and Darrell Stout of Beaumont, California; one sister, Shirley Pond and her husband, Don of Holbrook, Nebraska; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Peace to her memory, Donna will be missed by all her family and friends.

A memorial has been established in her memory and will be designated at a later date.
