Douglas Scott "Doug" Davison, 26 years of age, of rural Funk, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 as the result of an ATV accident near his home.  Doug was born June 7, 1989 at Holdrege, Nebraska, the youngest of three children born to Scott and Linda (Post) Davison.  When Doug was 7 years old, he accepted Jesus in to his heart.  Doug received his primary education from R-4 District School and later graduated from Holdrege High School with the class of 2008.  He then pursued higher education from Hastings Technical College and Southeast Community College – Lincoln.

Doug enjoyed hiking, traveling, road trips with family and friends, playing basketball.  He was an avid Lakers basketball fan.  Doug enjoyed collecting and trading cars, especially late 80's Firebirds.  He was most recently restoring his Grandpa Duane's 1951 Chevy pickup.  Doug was an avid health nut, except for his Qudoba and Eileen's Cookies and monster cookie obsession.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, Scott and Linda Davison of rural Funk; two sisters:  Angela Olson and her husband, Jake of Tucson, Arizona and Ashley Mueller and her husband, Brad of Grand Island, Nebraska; one niece, Addison Olson; two nephews:  Eli Olson and Maddix Mueller; maternal grandparents: Gene and Mary Lou Post of Holdrege;  paternal grandparents: Duane and Beverly Davison of Holdrege; five aunts:  Deb Tallman and her husband, Vernon of Stromsburg, Nebraska, Linda Nelson and her husband, Rex of Lincoln, Nebraska, Heidi Wells and her husband, Mark of rural Holdrege, Cindy Soderholm of Holdrege, and Lori Candy and her husband, Tom of Holdrege; one uncle: Mike Post and his wife, Chris of Lee's Summit, Missouri; girl friend, Colby Klingelhoefer of Kearney, Nebraska and extended family and many friends.
