Dylan Jeffrey James Spradlin, 21 years of age, of Norton, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Norton.  Dylan was born November 11, 1994 at Augusta, Georgia, the eldest of two children born to William "Jeffrey" and Angelica Lea "Angel" (Hunter) Spradlin.  In addition to these two children, the couple lovingly blended families together with Dylan's siblings:  Aaron, Stephanie, Maggie, Julie, and Bonnie.  Just before Dylan turned two years of age the family returned to the mid-west, where he resided between Stamford and Norton with his parents.  Dylan received his education in Norton, graduating from NCHS with the class of 2013.

Following his education, Dylan spent several years working in various careers and most recently worked as a sales clerk at the Total Truck Stop in Norton.

Since a young age, Dylan had a mature soul and spirit, and was always passionate about people's feelings and emotions.  He always cared about others in their time of need.  He had a keen sense within him of knowing how to comfort family and friends.  He also had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his cats.  He enjoyed landscape design and horticulture, and looked forward to plans that he was developing in his mind for his parents' landscape around their homes.  He was an amazing cook, always looked to gain knowledge to share, and his sense of humor and love for music will always be remembered.  Anything he was passionate about, Dylan gave 100% of himself.  His car and motorcycle were a great sense of pride and accomplishment.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sherri Boo; and step-father, Scott Wray Nelson.

Dylan leaves to celebrate his life; his mother, Angel Nelson of rural Stamford, Nebraska and her fiancé, Eric Conn; his father, Jeff Spradlin of Norton, Kansas; Dylan's five siblings:  Aaron Spradlin, Stephanie Lewis and her family, Maggie Spradlin and her fiancé, Stephen Kirk, and Julie and Bonnie Nelson; grandparents:  Jim Boo of Almena, Kansas and Junior and Lillian Butler of Michigan; uncle, Kelly Boo and his family of Laramie, Wyoming; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

There will be no visitation, the family is honoring Dylan's wish for cremation.
