A Memorial Service for Floyd D. Christiancy will be held at a later date
Floyd Dale Christiancy, 60 years of age, of Wilcox, died, on July 11, 2021, at his home near Wilcox, Nebraska. Floyd was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on June 17, 1961, the youngest of three children, born to Floyd Dale Sr. and Marabelle (Scheil) Christiancy. As a child growing up, he participated in Drum and Bugle Corp. and on the weekends with his father they would build models. He quickly grew to love model building and has become an avid model builder for life. He received his primary education from the Lincoln Public Schools in Lincoln, Nebraska and later attended Southeast High School. Floyd received his GED from Bryan Learning Center. He pursued higher education and received an Associate's Degree in Graphic Arts from Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska.
At the age of 17 he bought his first motorcycle, a 1962 Sportster, and has had a motorcycle ever since. He was a part of the aggressors and participated in WWll reenacting until the mid-1980's.
On August 4, 1990, Floyd was united in marriage to Carrie Massa in Lincoln, Nebraska and to this union two children were born: Ezrah and Shawnee. The couple made their home in Lincoln and in 1995 they moved to Wilcox. In 2000 the couple moved to Carrie's grandparents farm in rural Wilcox.
Floyd was preceded in death by: his father, Floyd Dale Christiancy Sr.
Floyd is survived by his son, Ezrah of Wilcox; daughter, Shawnee Harper and her husband, Calvin of Holdrege; one grandson: Cameron Harper; his mother, Marabelle Rustermeir of Lincoln; two sisters: Kathrine Christiancy of Raymond, Nebraska and Susan Christiancy of Oshkosh, Nebraska, and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Floyd was a great friend, father and grandfather.
There will be no visitation or memorial book signing, the family is honoring Floyd's wish for cremation.
A memorial has been established in Floyd's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
