Darl Franklin "Frank" Boggs, 77 years of age, of Bertrand, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at his home in Bertrand. Frank was born January 27, 1942 at Lexington, Nebraska, the youngest of four children born to Darrel Norman and Clara Nina (Jolliffe) Boggs.  He received his education from Lexington Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1960.  He then pursued higher education at Kearney State College for two years. He served in the Army National Guard for six years, being honorably discharged on January 5, 1970.

On July 15, 1966, Frank was united in marriage Donna Jean Vollmer at Lexington, and to this union they were blessed with two children: Ross Darl and Jeanna Louise. The family made their home in the Bertrand area where Frank was a self-employed contractor.

Frank was a faithful member of the Westmark Evangelical Free Church, where he served as recording secretary for the Sunday school. He was influential in starting the Awana's Program at the church. He spent much time working at the ballfields getting them ready for the summer games.
