A Celebration of Life Visitation for Garrett D. Beck will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with the family greeting from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska.
Garrett Davis Beck, 31 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska, (formerly of Elwood, Nebraska) passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 at his home in Holdrege. Garrett was born November 26, 1987, at Lexington, Nebraska, the eldest of three children born to Gary Dale and Lisa Kay (Kruse) Beck. He received his education from Elwood Public Schools. Following his education, Garrett began his career as a farmhand, and also loved to tinker with cars as well. Throughout the years, he enjoyed his employment on the farm with Troy Kuck at Bertrand, Nebraska.
For several years, Garrett had a special relationship with Mollie Kallos, and the couple were blessed with two daughters: Karma K. and Serenity Lee Beck. Garrett loved his girls, and when he had opportunity to spend quality time with them, he was always on the top of the world. They were his pride and joy in life.
Garrett's passion in life was camping, boating, fishing at the lake, and simply just hanging out with his friends and family. His giving personality, and demeanor will be remembered by those who knew and loved him!
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary in 2015; his grandparents: Donald and Sandra Kruse; and Art and Aline Beck.
Garrett leaves to celebrate his life, his mother, Lisa Beck, and her special friend, Dan Menzer and his daughter, Beth all of Holdrege; his two children: Karma and Serenity Beck and their mother, Mollie of Overton, Nebraska; two siblings: Alisha Beck of Hastings, Nebraska; and Eric Beck of Holdrege; step-grandmother, Judy Kruse of Montana; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives; and many friends.
Following the traditional visitation, the family will honor Garrett's wish for cremation.
A memorial has been established in Garrett's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
