He received his education from the Kearney Public School and graduated with the class of 1964.
He was drafted into the United States Army in 1965 and served in the Vietnam War. Harold was honorably discharged in 1967.
On August 14, 1973, Harold was united in marriage to Mary Ann Dannull at the First Baptist Church in Kearney, and to this union three children were born: Melanie; and twins: David, and Daisy. He was a member of the Mid-5's Limited in Kearney and the National Tri-Five Mob and Tri-Five Association, and would spend hours on the computer searching for car parts and researching '55 Chevys. He had a big heart and was always there to help, no matter what you needed.
