Funeral Services for Helen B. Pinner will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska with Chaplain Kathy Doiel officiating. Following the traditional funeral the family will honor Helen's wish for cremation and a private family inurnment will be at a later date.

Helen Bernice Pinner, 94 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Holdrege Memorial Homes in Holdrege. Helen was born on March 18, 1923 in Julesburg, Colorado, the eldest of two children born to Albert Royal and Hazel Del (Conover) Walton. She received her education at Wilsonville, Nebraska.

Helen worked as a store clerk in a liquor store in Lebanon, Nebraska for ten years, and finished her working days at Becton-Dickinson in Holdrege, until her retirement in 1986.

On September 6, 1939 she was united in marriage to Maurice Keyser, and to this union twelve children were born: Marjorie, Dorothy "Dotty", Jerry, Linda, Shirley "Cookie", Jimmy, Mike, Betty, JoAnn, Patty, Tom and Craig.

On July 11, 1974 she was united in marriage to John David Pinner in Holdrege. The family made their home in Holdrege.

Helen loved fishing and crocheting. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Holdrege.

Besides her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husbands: Maurice in 1972 and John in 2011; three children: Betty Morris, Linda Keyser and Jimmy Keyser; brother, Lyle Walton; daughter-in-law, Norma Keyser; sons-in-law, Dean Barber and Wiley Wagner; step-son-in-law, Dana Reed; sister-in-law: Betty Galbraith; two brothers-in-law: Lloyd Pinner and Tom Pinner; and five grandchildren: Ricky Alexander, Scott Keyser, Jeffrey Bradley, Matt Keyser and Jerry Donley.

She leaves to celebrate her life her nine children: Marjorie Hansen and her husband, Wayne of Stapelhurst, Nebraska, Dorothy Barber of Bertrand, Nebraska, Jerry Keyser of Wichita, Kansas, Cookie Bradley and her husband, Harold of Holdrege, Mike Keyser of Wichita, JoAnn Wagner of Barnard, Missouri, Patty Sisneros and her husband, Rudy of Frederick, Colorado, Thomas Keyser and his wife, Jennifer of Fairbury, Nebraska; Craig Keyser of Council Bluffs, Iowa; step-children: David Pinner and his wife, Mary of Phoenix, Arizona, Linda Bartholomew and her husband, Terry of Morrison, Colorado, Joe Pinner and his wife, Coleen of Tempe, Arizona, Sandi Reed of Jansen, Nebraska, Carol Pope and her husband, Daryl of Phoenix, Randy Pinner and his wife, Rosa of Phoenix; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 for one hour prior to the service at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege.

A memorial has been established in Helen's memory and kindly suggested to Holdrege Memorial Homes or Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3132 of Holdrege.
