Jason Xuan Nguyen, 40 years of age, of Jennings, Missouri, (formerly of Stamford, Nebraska) passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, in St. Louis, Missouri.  Jason was born on December 6, 1979, in North Platte, Nebraska, the son of Nhut X. and Dawn (Veronesi) Nguyen.  He received his primary education from Dixon High School in Onslow County, North Carolina, and later completed his GED.

After achieving his GED, Jason moved to Houston, Texas, and resided with his father.  During this time, he was able to travel with his father to Vietnam to visit family there.  He continued to live in Houston until 2010, when he relocated to Nebraska.  Jason was employed in various jobs until 2016, when he attended Trucking School at US Xpress.  He continued to be employed by US Xpress as a truck driver until the time of his passing.

Those who knew Jason can attest to his sense of humor; he loved to make people laugh.  He loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was kind-hearted; had a selfless soul; and was a peace maker.  Jason was always helping those who were in need, or those who were experiencing a rough day; regardless if they were family or a complete stranger.  God saw this light in Jason, which shined so bright, but needed that light in His Kingdom.  Jason's light will now shine brighter in Heaven.  He will never be forgotten, peace be to his memory.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents:  Norman and Barbara Veronesi; Say Van Nguyen; and Kheo Thi Phung.

Jason leaves to celebrate his life; his mother, Dawn Veronesi of Stamford; his father, Nhut Nguyen of Houston; half-sister, Anna Pyell and her husband, Carter Joseph Pyell of Stamford; half-brother, Joshua Brooks and his wife, Lacey Brooks of West Point, Nebraska; two nephews:  Adrian and Fallon Robinson; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

A memorial has been established in Jason's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
