Memorial Graveside Services for Jerald D. Arehart will be held at the Prairie Home Cemetery at Holdrege, Nebraska on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastors Rich Neu and Kenton Birtell, officiating. Following the memorial graveside service a time of fellowship and lunch will be held at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Holdrege.
Jerald D. Arehart, 62 years of age, of Valley Center, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2008 in Wichita, Kansas. Jerald was born December 3, 1945 at Holdrege to Harley and Margaret (McConnell) Arehart. He received his education at Bertrand, Nebraska, graduating from Bertrand High School with the class of 1964. On June 2, 1973 he was united in marriage to Judy Williams. At the time of his passing, Jerald was the owner of Tec Weld Automation, Inc. He was a beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Judy; four children: Tonia Arehart of Seattle, Washington,
Tina VanDenBerg, of Ottumwa, Iowa, Craig Arehart of Lincoln, Nebraska, Angela Nicholas and her husband, Rob of Portland, Oregon; one granddaughter, Kaleigh VanDenBerg of Ottumwa; one brother, Gary Arehart and his wife, Nancy of Holdrege; two sisters: Bev Renken and her husband, Doug of Omaha, Nebraska and Barb Garrison and her husband, Tom of Grand Island, Nebraska; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
