A Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Jeri Bienhoff will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska with Chaplain DeWane Dow officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at the Prairie Home Cemetery, Holdrege.

Jerilea Esther "Jeri" Bienhoff, 86 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Christian Homes Care Community at Holdrege.  Jeri was born on September 12, 1939, in Oberlin, Kansas, born to John and Esther (Harmon) Brown. She received her education from Holdrege Public Schools, graduating with the Class of 1958.

On June 28, 1959, Jeri was united in marriage to the love of her life, Glenn Alden Bienhoff at Holdrege, and they were blessed with two sons: Mark and David.

She continued her education as a Respiratory Therapy Technician.  She worked at Brewster Hospital and Family Medical Clinic for over 45 years.  Jeri loved reading books, playing card games, board games, sewing, camping and canoeing with friends and family.  Most of all she enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn in 2009; in-laws:  Middent and Johanna Bienhoff; and 15 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her two sons: Mark Bienhoff and his wife, Rita of Red Oak, Iowa; and David Bienhoff of Holdrege; four grandchildren: Johanna Vance and her husband, Josh of Grand Island, Nebraska; Jonathon Bienhoff and his wife, Kacee of Lincoln, Nebraska; Emily Scism and her partner, Fiona of Miami, Florida; and Hayley Kaiser and her husband, Cole of Omaha, Nebraska; five great-grandchildren: Atticus Vance, Oliver Vance, Peyton Scism, Kayden Scism and Cooper Scism; longtime family friend Malda Johnson; two sisters: Margeret Moore of Denver, Colorado; and Geneva Cohn of Denver, Colorado; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the Holdrege Animal Rescue.
