Jo D. Crawford

Jo Del Crawford, 82 years of age, of Holdrege, died, on December 25, 2022, at her home.

She became a Registered Nurse in 1961 and gave her dedication to healthcare and caring for others.

Jo was a quiet, private person but passionately loved her family and friends. She enjoyed her flowers and birdwatching, her books and puzzles, and was the world's best listener. Her wit and wisdom were next to none, which made her everyone's phone-a-friend on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and a Jeopardy expert.

Jo is proceeded in death by her parents Burt and Ida Emmons, and three siblings.

She is survived by her three children: Larry Crawford of Bertrand; Lori Brede of Kearney; and Susan High of Kearney; eight grandchildren: Cahle Olsen; Jerad Olsen; Megan Olsen; Jenesis Emory; Mikah Neff; Jordyn Ahrens; Taylor Meier; and Savannah Even; numerous loving great-grandchildren; one sister: Doris Hydo of North Platte. She will be forever in our hearts.

A private family viewing was held prior to cremation, and a graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.

A memorial has been established in Jo's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
