A Graveside Service for JoAnn Gregory will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cottonwood Cemetery near Burwell, Nebraska, with Pastor Nora Mendyk officiating.

JoAnn Gregory, 88 years of age, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Holdrege, Nebraska, passed away, June 21, 2021, at an assisted living in Wichita.  She was born in Burwell, on May 29, 1933, to H.B. "Mike" and Roine Ovlin (Worden) Johnson.

She was united in marriage to Harry E. Gregory and the couple made their home in Holdrege.  They were blessed with one daughter, Sherry.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry E. Gregory; and a sister, Delores L. Sakurai.

JoAnn is survived by:  her daughter, Sherry Ann Tyson of Wichita; one grandson, Aaron (Alexandra) Miller-Lee; two great grandchildren:  Ayden and Atreyu Miller-Lee, all of Missouri; an aunt, Norma Maxson of Burwell, Nebraska; one niece, Linda Holben; one great-niece, Dayna (Gary) McLaughlin all of Valrico, Florida; two great-nephews:  Jacob Dughman of Valrico, Florida; and Josh Dughman of Lakeworth Beach, Florida; along with many cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, with the family present.

Memorials may be sent to the local hospice or a charity of your choice, in JoAnn's honor.
