A Memorial Service for Jordan Larson will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church in Holdrege, Nebraska with Pastor Craig Richardson officiating.
A private inurnment will be held prior to the service at Fridhem Cemetery, rural Funk, Nebraska.
Jordan James Larson, 33 years of age, of Axtell, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the family farm. Jordan was born in Kearney, Nebraska, on November 10, 1991, the youngest of three children, born to James "Jim" and Wendy (Wells) Larson. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church, and later confirmed there. Jordan received his education from Axtell Public Schools and graduated from Axtell High School, with the class of 2010.
Jordan pursued higher education from Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska and returned to the family farm and worked along-side his father.
Jordan loved to spend time with his niece, and nephew, Emma and Mason, and cheering for them during their many activities.
He enjoyed golfing with friends, watching Husker and KC Chiefs football, KC Royals Baseball and spending time with his close friends and family. Jordan was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Axtell, where he enjoyed helping in the kitchen.
Jordan was preceded in death by his father, Jim Larson in 2021; his grandparents: Earl and Charlotte Larson; and Ted R. Wells; and uncles: Dave Larson; and Michael Wells.
Those left to cherish his memory include: his mother, Wendy Larson of rural Funk; his brother: Dustin Larson and girlfriend, Tina Bilau of Bennington, Nebraska; his sister, Jamie Hruska and her husband, Eric of Axtell; niece and nephew: Emma and Mason Hruska; grandmother, Arlis Wells of Holdrege; uncles and aunt: Jerry Larson and his wife, Linda of Axtell; Kathryn Illingworth and her husband, Stephen of Hastings, Nebraska; Jim Wells and his wife, Ellen of Omaha, Nebraska; and Jerry Wells of Axtell; along with other relatives, and friends.
A Memorial Book Signing will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege.
Memorials in Jordan's memory are kindly suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church in Axtell or the Axtell Ball Association.
