Joseph F Cristiano

Joseph F. Cristiano, 87 years of age, of Orleans, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Colonial Villa in Alma.

Joseph Frank Cristiano was born on April 25, 1929 at Tenafly, New Jersey, one of eight children born to Frank C. and Mary K. (Canonico) Cristiano. After his education, Joseph was inducted into the United States Air Force and served his country until his honorable discharge in 1950.

In May of 1948, Joseph was united in marriage to Verna "Louise" Place in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  To this union three children were born:  Thomas, David and Ginger.  Joe and Louise made their home in Colorado, prior to moving to Orleans in 1980.

Joe worked in the construction field until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise; son, Thomas; son-in-law, Douglas Tuttle; and 3 siblings.

Joseph is survived by his son, David Cristiano and wife, Christy; his daughter, Ginger Tuttle; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters: Margaret, Camie, Francine & Rose.

There will be no visitation as the family is honoring Joseph's wish for cremation. No services are planned.
