Celebration of Life Services for Judith R. Harring will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska with Reverend Jean Clayton officiating.  A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Judith Renee Harring, 81 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at her home in Holdrege.  Judith was born on April 1, 1936 in Kearney, Nebraska, to Evert John and Clara Ellen (Kenfield) Kincheloe.   She received her primary education from District #95 in Buffalo County, and then completed her education from Elm Creek Public School in Elm Creek, Nebraska.

On May 7, 1974, she was united in marriage to Kim Patrick Harring.  The family made their home in Minden, Nebraska for several years, until relocating to Holdrege in 1986.  Throughout the years, Judith was employed in various careers that included:  babysitting, motel hospitality, and cafeteria service before spending a long career as an in-home caregiver for the elderly until her retirement in 1990.

Judith's favorite past-time was caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and in her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and fishing.  While living in Minden, the family were members of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church, and after moving to Holdrege they attended the First Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, Judith was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Kincheloe; granddaughter, Andrea Noel; brother-in-law, Leroy "Chick" Lavene; and a niece, Debbie Lavene.

She leaves to celebrate her life; her husband of almost 43 years, Kim Harring of Holdrege; her three children:  Lyle Kinnaman and his wife, Lynn of Holdrege; Judith "Judy" Herzog and her husband, Don of Grand Island, Nebraska; Troy Harring and his wife, Carmen of Loma Linda, California; nine grandchildren:  Caleb (Tia), Rebekah, Hannah, Abby, Kristal, Joseph, Joshua, Mindy, and Lucy;  twelve great-grandchildren; four sisters:  Ellen Lavene of Corsicana, Texas; Edna Meyer and her husband, Ken of Ogallala, Nebraska; Sharon Young and her husband, Loren of Longmont, Colorado; and Marilyn Allerheiligen and her husband, Ron of St. James, Missouri; one brother, Terry Kincheloe of Holdrege; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

There will be no visitation, the family is honoring Judith's wish for cremation.

A memorial has been established in Judith's honor and will be designated at a later date.
