A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home, 401 Burlington Street in Holdrege, Nebraska.

Justin Ray Jordan, age 44, of Alma, Nebraska, passed away in his home on December 25, 2025. Justin was born on May 8, 1981, in Hanford, California, to Clay and Chrisney (Thomas) Jordan, the eldest of two children from this union. From a young age, Justin showed a natural mechanical ability and a talent for working with his hands, skills that would define much of his life and career.

Justin worked for Great Plains Dairy Service for 20 years, proudly working alongside his father, where together they built and maintained dairy's and created wastewater treatment systems called Blue Frogs. He was an exceptionally skilled welder, known for his precision, creativity, and problem-solving ability. Later, Justin continued his career as a Signal Operator with BNSF Railway, a role he was deeply proud of. Through his work, he traveled, made lifelong friends, and played an important role in improving railroad safety.

Justin was a man who never allowed life to be dull. He had a persistent personality, and those who knew him best will remember him as stubborn, loyal, loud, and incredibly funny. He kept people guessing, brought energy into every room, and made family gatherings unforgettable. He was easy to talk to, easy to laugh with, and made friends wherever he went.

He deeply loved his dogs, especially Winston and Charlie, his beloved corgis and constant companions. Justin also enjoyed dining out, traveling for work, staying connected with loved ones, and he took great pride in his interests, especially his love of guns, creating culinary masterpieces, and craftsmanship.

Above all else, Justin was devoted to his family. He shared over 20 years of love and partnership with his wife, Abbi Jordan (Polak), who stood by him with unwavering dedication. He was incredibly proud of his son, Cyrus Jordan, celebrating Cyrus's achievements with immense pride, including graduating high school and joining the Nebraska Army National Guard, where Cyrus completed boot camp, moments Justin spoke of often and cherished deeply.

Justin is survived by his wife, Abbi Jordan, and son, Cyrus Jordan, of Alma, Nebraska; his parents, Clay and Chrisney Jordan (Thomas) of Canyon, Texas; his sister, Janelle (Anthony) Mahood, and niece, Amelia Mahood, of Lincoln, Nebraska; his father-in-law, Harold Polak, parents in-law Randy and Sharon Stahlecker of Alma, Jordan family matriarch, grandmother Lela Bell Jordan of Roswell, New Mexico; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family across California, New Mexico, Arizona, Illinois, Kansas, and Iowa. Justin made a point to stay in touch with those he loved near and far, calling often and valuing those connections deeply.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Raymond Jordan; Lynn and Macie Kay Hutsell; and Jerry and Lola Thomas.

Justin was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Justin will be remembered for his loyalty, his humor, his skills, and the unmistakable presence he brought into the lives of everyone who knew him. His life was full, his love was real, and his impact will not be forgotten.

There will be no visitation or memorial book signing. The family is honoring Justin's wish for cremation.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Justin's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
