Kathy Jo Hulinsky

A Celebration of Life Service for Kathy J. Hulinsky will be held at the First Baptist Church in Holdrege, Nebraska on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with her brother, Pastor Michael Hulinsky officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Kathy Jo Hulinsky, 33 years of age, of rural Holdrege, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska as a result of a motor vehicle accident in November 2014. Kathy was born July 4, 1981 at Grand Island, Nebraska, and was adopted by Raymond and Virginia (Michalski) Hulinsky at two years of age. She was home-schooled with the assistance of her mother through the 12 ^th grade. In March of 1999 she was inducted into the United States Air Force and served her country for a short period of time.

Following her service she began to make her home in Minnesota. While in Minnesota, she was blessed with a daughter and two sons. She also received a degree as a Medical Transcriptionist. In 2010, Kathy returned to Nebraska, where she met Kyle Schoff and the couple were engaged to be married. They made their home in rural Holdrege.

Kathy loved to ride horses, camping, crocheting, and most of all spending time with her children and family. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Holdrege, where she loved singing with the praise team.

Kathy is survived by her three children: Kaitlin Knoll of Grand Forks, North Dakota and Alex and Damien Almaraz of Rockwell, Texas; fiancée, Kyle Schoff and his two sons: Cael and Kash of rural Holdrege; her parents: Raymond and Virginia Hulinsky of Le Mars, Iowa; siblings: Roger and Julie Hulinsky of Lincoln, Nebraska; Donna and David Koch of Garner, North Carolina, Michael and Chris Hulinsky of Le Mars, Sarah and Chris Malone of Orleans, Nebraska; her birth family; mother, Shari Long of San Jose, California; father, F.D. "Stoney" Stahlnecker, Jr. of St. Paul, Nebraska; sister, Angela Trent of Grand Island, Nebraska; brother, Jeremy Long of Alexandria, Virginia; grandmothers: Marie Michalski of Ord, Nebraska and Inez Baade of Prague, Nebraska; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Kathy is preceded in death by her grandparents: Stanley Michalski and Mike and Alice Hulinsky; two sisters: Cari Joy Hulinsky and Amber Jo Bradley.

There will be no visitation, the family has chosen cremation.
