Funeral Services for Kellen Blaise Wohlgemuth will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Drive in Fort Myers, Florida. Interment will be in the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.
Kellen Blaise Wohlgemuth, three month old son of Delwin and Ellen (Retschke) Wohlgemuth passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving mother on Friday, November 16, 2012. Kellen was born on August 20, 2012. During his three months here on earth he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. His life was God's gift to all who knew him as they enjoyed his snuggles, laughter, and beautiful smile.
Kellen was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles on January 9, 2011 and Bonita (Broberg) Wohlgemuth on November 14, 2011 of Kearney, Nebraska.
Kellen is survived by his parents, Delwin and Ellen Wohlgemuth of Ft. Myers; one brother, Weston Wohlgemuth and four sisters, Kennedy, London, Peyton and Kendel Wohlgemuth; maternal grandparents: Gerhard and Petra Retschke of Berlin, Germany; 5 uncles: Dan Wohlgemuth and his wife, Kim of Leander, Texas, Dave Wohlgemuth and his wife, Branda of Holdrege, Nebraska, Don Wohlgemuth and his wife Brenda of Holdrege, Daron Wohlgemuth Kansas City, Missouri, Alexander Retschke from Wittichinau, Germany; 3 aunts: Denise Larsen and her husband, Doug of Lincoln, Nebraska, DeAnn Watermeier and her husband, Nathan of Lincoln and Sabine Marschall from Berlin, Germany; cousins: Kelsi Foster and her husband, Brandon and daughter Charley of Overland Park, Kansas, Shane Wohlgemuth and his wife, Jayde and their children, Elaine and Porter of Funk, Nebraska; Morgan Wohlgemuth and his wife, LeAnna and son Gage of Holdrege, Chase Wohlgemuth of Funk, Colby Wohlgemuth and his wife, Brooke of Holdrege, Caleb Exstrom of Lincoln, Jada Exstrom of Lincoln, Elise Watermeier of Lincoln, Camron Watermeier of Lincoln, Danielle Wohlgemuth of Baltimore, Maryland, and Dustin Wohlgemuth of Hagerstown, Maryland.
In lieu of flowers, a legacy memorial will be established. Cards may be sent to Del and Ellen Wohlgemuth and Family at 14112 Creek Court, Ft. Myers, Florida 33908.
