Kenneth M Johnson

Kenneth Marlyn Johnson, 82 years of age, of Loomis, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege.  Kenneth was born June 16, 1937, at Holdrege, the youngest of two children to Marion A. and Dorothy G. (Matteson) Johnson.  Kenneth received his education from Loomis Public School, graduating from Loomis High School with the class of 1955.

Following his education, Kenneth engaged in farming his entire working career, retiring in 1997.  Throughout the years, Kenneth enjoyed the outdoors, which included hunting and fishing, and in his spare time he had a passion for photography, and film developing.  Kenneth continued to reside in Loomis, until his health began to fail at which time he began to make his home at the Bertrand Nursing Home in Bertrand, Nebraska.

Besides his parents; Kenneth was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Johnson.  He is survived by a host of friends that he appreciated.

Per Kenneth's request, a Private Graveside Service will be held in the Prairie Home Cemetery at Holdrege, Nebraska.

There will be no visitation, or memorial book signing.  His wish for cremation will take place.

A memorial has been established in Kenneth's honor, and will be designated at a later date.
