Kinzie Irene Hall, 6 ½ years of age, of Oxford, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011at her home in Oxford, following a courageous battle with Blooms Syndrome and a Wilm's Tumor. Kinzie was born December 23, 2004 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the eldest of two children of Jeffrey Todd and Jennifer Jo (Hosier) Hall. Kinzie was born seven weeks early at 2 lbs., 9 ozs and spent her first seven weeks at St. Elizabeth's Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit in Lincoln. In the following days from her hospitalization she joined her parents at home in Lincoln for four years until moving to Oxford in June of 2009.

Kinzie began her education in Oxford with Pre-School at ESU #11 and then Kindergarten at Southern Valley Elementary this past year. In October of 2010, she began to experience symptoms of her illness. The past seven months, Kinzie continued to amaze her parents and family with her courage and will to live and fought her illness with astonishment. She was also an inspiration to other children who she met while in treatment who were also fighting life threatening illnesses.

Kinzie loved Sponge Bob, watching movies, playing with her Barbie's, and had a special place in her heart for animals. She loved to play dress-up as a Princess, catching Toads, hunting for rocks, enjoyed to draw and paint, climbing the cherry tree in her yard and most of all loved to teach her brother what not to do!

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents. Kinzie leaves to mourn her passing her parents: Jeff and Jennifer Hall of Oxford; little brother, Tytus at home in Oxford; grandparents: Steve and Irene Hosier of Oxford, John and Sue Hall, Ginny and Glen Eggert, Deb and Steve Converse all of Lincoln; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. – Noon at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Oxford.

A memorial has been established in her memory and kindly suggested to the Kinzie Hall Memorial Fund, c/o of the family.
