Celebration of Life Services for Kristina L. Cepel will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Holdrege, Nebraska with Pastors Paul Bauman and Murray Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery at Holdrege.

Kristina Louise (Beaudette) Cepel, 38 years of age, of Holdrege, died on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 6, 1980, in Holdrege, the second of four children born to Scott and Patty (Kumpost) Beaudette. She received her education from Holdrege Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1998. She then pursued higher education from Central Community College at Columbus, Nebraska. While attending CCC, she enjoyed being a member of the Chorale and Cantari Singing Groups.

On April 22, 2006, Kristina was united in marriage to Eric Cepel, and to this union three children were born: Hailey, Zander and Austin. The family made their home in Holdrege, where Kristina was employed by: the Hampton Inn in Kearney, for eight years; the Super 8 in Holdrege, for three years; and Becton Dickinson in Holdrege for three years. But, being able to be a stay-at-home Mom was her favorite.

She enjoyed spending time camping and fishing with her friends and family, and helping her children learn to bake and garden. She will be remembered for her generous, loving heart; her contagious smile; and her love for Jesus. Above all, Kristina has left a tremendous legacy of love to her husband, children, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by; her father, Scott Beaudette; her paternal grandfather, Von Beaudette; her maternal grandparents: James and Charlotte (Ball) Kumpost; two uncles: Ed Kumpost, and Greg Beaudette; and two aunts: Mary (Kumpost) Jensen; and Barbara (Kumpost) Schuetz.

Kristina leaves to celebrate her life; her loving husband of 13 years, Eric Cepel; her three children: Hailey, Zander and Austin Cepel all of Holdrege; her mother, Patty (Kumpost) Beaudette of Holdrege; two sisters: Amanda Moseman and her husband, Matt of Columbus, Nebraska; and Jessica Beaudette of Holdrege; one brother, Michael Beaudette and his wife, Anissa of Show Low, Arizona; grandmother, Donna Beaudette of Holdrege; many nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege.

A memorial has been established in Kristina's honor, and kindly suggested to the Pink Bandana Organization; the Phelps County 4-H Clubs; or to the family, to establish an education fund for her children.
