Fulmer will be held at the North Park Assembly of God Church, at 14th & Burlington St. in Holdrege, Nebraska, on March 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverends Becky Stadler and Brian Steinbach officiating. Lamoine Bernard "Moine" Fulmer, of Holdrege, (formerly of Smith Center, Kansas) passed away on January 30, 2019, at the Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege. Moine was born March 11, 1927 in Holdrege, the eldest of five children born to Bernard and Flossie (Humrich) Fulmer. He attended grade school in Harlan, Kansas, then Loveland, Colorado, and later attended Kearney High School in Kearney, Nebraska, graduating with the class in 1945.  After graduation, he joined the United States Navy, but after losing hearing in his right ear, he was medically discharged in July 1945.  For the next eight years, he served in reserve capacity in the Nebraska National Guard.

On October 5th, 1947, Moine met Juanita Reynolds and they were united in marriage on April 4, 1948, in Kearney and to this union three sons were born: Randy, Kim and Barry. In 1955, he and Nita moved to Smith Center, where Moine worked as a mechanic for several different entities.  In 1968, he purchased and then operated Moines Tune-Up at two different locations for 16 years.  Upon retirement, he worked multiple jobs including home maintenance and repair, probing grain cars for the State of Kansas, and eventually, golf car sales and service. Moine also loved traveling the country with Nita, delivering Excel campers, which was a hobby they enjoyed for many years.

On December 17, 2010, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nita. In 2013, Moine moved to Holdrege to be closer to his family.  He continued his golf-car service until age 89, when he decided that crawling under them made it too hard to get up.

Besides his parents and wife, Nita; Moine was preceded in death by two brothers in infancy; three brothers-in-law; and three sisters-in-law.

He leaves to celebrate his life, his three sons: Randy Fulmer and his wife, Beth of Kansas City, Missouri; Kim Fulmer and his wife, Patricia of Holdrege; and Barry Fulmer and his wife, Janet of Newton, Kansas; eleven grandchildren: Kristin Khalilkhani and her husband, Mansour of Kansas City, Missouri; Michelle Fulmer of New York, New York; Paul Fulmer and his wife, Cori of Holdrege; Angela Thomas and her husband, Nathan of Des Moines, Iowa; Sarah Smith and her husband, Nathan of Okemos, Michigan; Adam Fulmer and his wife, Bethany of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Kayla Smith and her husband, Micah of Holdrege; Amanda Heughan and her husband, Ryan of Houston, Texas; Jacob Fulmer of Overland Park, Kansas; and Alex Garza; and Joshua Fulmer both of Newton, Kansas; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Phyllis Ronnberg of Kearney; Wanda McKean; and Karen Smith, both of Mesa, Arizona; his brother, Kenny Fulmer and his wife, Kathy of Mesa; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

There will be no visitation, as the family is honoring Moine's wish for cremation.

A memorial has been established in Moine's honor, and is kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
