Laura R Fish

Memorial Services for Laura R. Fish will be conducted from the First Baptist Church in Oxford, Nebraska on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Sowden officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date in the Oxford Cemetery.

Laura Robbins Fish, 65 years of age of Oxford passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska. Laura was born August 31, 1946 at Wilmington, Delaware the youngest of two children born to Gordon and Margaret (Gardener) Robbins. She attended school in Wilmington graduating from the Brandywine High School with the class of 1964.

On July 3, 1977, she was united in marriage to Richard Dale Fish of Oxford and to this union one daughter, Merritt was born. The couple made their home in Oxford where Laura focused her attention on raising their family.

Laura was a Girl Scout Leader and was very involved with the First Baptist Church's Lunch Committee and the Condolence Committee. She will be overwhelming missed by her family.

Besides her parents, Laura was preceded in death by a brother in infancy.

Laura is survived by her husband, Richard of Oxford; daughter, Merritt Williams and her husband, Sean of Kearney; two granddaughters: Alexandria Theresa and Mikaella Isabelle Williams also of Kearney.

There will be no visitation as her family is honoring her wish for cremation.
