Leigh Ann Ely

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Leigh Ann Ely will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Holdrege, Nebraska. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Wilcox Cemetery in Wilcox, Nebraska.

Leigh Ann (Fulmer) Ely, 61 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska, passed away on July 20, 2026, at CHI Health Good in Kearney, Nebraska. Leigh Ann was born in Denver, Colorado on April 19, 1965, the eldest of three children, born to Bill and Rosetta (Dickson) Fulmer. She received her education through the Holdrege School system.

Leigh Ann raised four good kids: Eric, Sean, Bryan, and Rose. The family lived in Gothenburg and North Platte.

Leigh Ann enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and being outside in nature.

Leigh Ann was preceded in death by: both sets of grandparents; her father; her brother, James "Scott" Fulmer; and several aunts and uncles.

Leigh Ann is survived by four children: Eric McClain; Sean Ely; Bryan Ely; and Rose Ely; grandchildren; her mom, Rosetta Fulmer; one brother, Dan Fulmer; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

There will be no viewing or visitation. The family is honoring Leigh Ann's wish for cremation.

Memorials in Leigh Ann's honor are suggested to the family for a later designation.
