Graveside Memorial Services for Linda K. Clark will be held at a later date at the Prairie Home Cemetery at Holdrege, Nebraska.

Linda Kaye Clark, 68 years of age, of Ragan, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at her home in Ragan, following a battle with cancer.  She was born on January 3, 1951, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the youngest of six children to George and Florence (Chisenhall) Benton.  As a young girl, Linda's family moved to many different towns, as her father was with the military.  She attended school at Cunningham, Tennessee.

Over the years she was employed as a CNA at three nursing homes, babysat, and also worked at BD in Holdrege.

On January 6, 1968, Linda was united in marriage to Dave A. Waters and to this union three children were born: David, Martin and Cynthia.  The family made their home in Tennessee, Michigan, and Georgia, until settling in Nebraska.

On December 27, 1991, Linda was united in marriage to Merlyn W. "Mert" Clark at the Phelps County Courthouse in Holdrege.  The couple made their home in Ragan.

Linda enjoyed nature, walks on the lake, playing BINGO, helping people, and taking care of their home.

Linda was preceded in death by; her parents; and all her siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory include:  her husband, Merlyn "Mert" Clark of Ragan; her three children: David Waters and his wife, Diane of Lincoln, Nebraska; Martin Waters and his wife, Leslie of Stamford, Nebraska; Cynthia Mapes and her husband, James of Holdrege; five grandchildren:  Brittany Waters, Crystal Waters, Lee Allen Waters, Blake Phillip Waters, Megan Nicole Waters; 11 great-grandchildren: Tessa Ann Root, Brianna Lee Root, Ava Grace Waters, Stori Lynn Stokes, Liam Martin Stokes, Noah Kale Waters, Araya Jay Farmer, McKynli Kaye Keslar, Gavin Jameson Coffman, Severan Phillip Coffman, Emerson Elizabeth Kramer; along with other loving relatives and many friends.

There will be no visitation or viewing.  The family has honored Linda's wish for cremation.

A memorial has been established in Linda's memory, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
