Linda J. Del Peloso, 68 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her home in Holdrege. Honoring Linda's wishes private family services will be held at a later date.

Linda Joyce Del Peloso was born July 24, 1943 at Watsonville, California, the daughter of Zola and Geneva (Hertzog) Balla and at the age of four she was adopted by William Andrews who became her father and devoted himself to her mother and the family. The family made their home in Aromas, California later moving to Watsonville, California. Linda received her education from Watsonville, graduating from Watsonville High School with the class of 1961.

Following her education, she was united in marriage to Mauro Del Peloso and to this union two sons were born: Marty and Randy. The family made their home in Santa Cruz, California, where Linda focused on raising their sons and being a homemaker. Her life was devoted to her sons; she will be remembered for her strong will and was an anchor point to her family when needed.

She later moved to Oregon and in 2005 she relocated from Oregon to Holdrege to be near her son and family.

Linda always enjoyed singing and had a strong passion for music. She also enjoyed playing women's fast pitch softball when she was young, collecting pig figurines, and most of all she loved her jewelry, especially sterling silver and turquoise.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Linda is survived by her two sons: Marty Del Peloso of Santa Cruz and Randy Del Peloso and his wife, Andrea of Bertrand, Nebraska; five grandchildren: Taylor, Dimitri, Bianca, Deonte, and Arabella Del Peloso; one sister, Gayle Balla of Watsonville, California; one brother, Robert Andrews of Iowa; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial has been established in her memory and can be directed to the family.
