Celebration of Life Services for Lisa K. Beck will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska with Pastor Daren Popple officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Lisa Kay Beck, 56 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at her home in Holdrege, after a courageous battle with cancer. Lisa was born August 13, 1963, at Holdrege, the youngest of two children to Donald and Sandra Kay (Jones) Kruse. She received her education from Holdrege Public Schools. Following her education, she started working at Becton-Dickinson.

On May 30, 1987, Lisa was united in marriage to Gary Beck at the Chapel of the Lake at Johnson Lake, Nebraska and to this union three children were born: Garrett, Eric and Alisha. The family made their home in Elwood for fifteen years, where Lisa was a stay at home mom.

She later worked at Allmand Brothers and most recently was a CNA at Christian Homes Care Community in Holdrege.

Throughout the years, she enjoyed being at the lake, camping, and boating, but most of all loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters and grand-dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Garrett Beck.

Lisa leaves to celebrate her life, her children: Eric Beck and Alisha Beck both of Holdrege; two granddaughters: Karma and Serenity Beck; one brother, Bob Kruse and his wife, Jennifer of Lincoln, Nebraska; step-mother, Judy Kruse of Montana; two step-brothers: Larry Haskett and Michael Haskett both of Montana; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives; and many friends.

There will be no visitation, the family is honoring Lisa's wish for cremation.

A memorial has been established in Lisa's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
