Memorial Services for Lonnie L. St.Clair will be conducted from the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Tom Thompson officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Bainbridge Cemetery in Harlan County, Nebraska.

Lonnie LeRoy St.Clair, 55 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at his home in Holdrege. He was born on September 26, 1953, in Alma, Nebraska, the second of four children of Eldon L. and Maxine "Max" (Schroder) St.Clair. He received his education from Naponee and Republican City High Schools.

On May 26, 1983, he was united in marriage to Laura L. Jones at her parent's house in Holdrege. The couple made their home in Holdrege. Lonnie was employed by Dobberstein Roofing of Kearney, where he specialized in industrial roofing materials.

Lonnie was a "man's man" who loved life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as gardening and canning. He was also very mechanical and enjoyed working on things around the house. Lonnie loved to have fun and especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Laura St.Clair of Holdrege; one brother, Dick St.Clair and his wife, Norma of North Platte, Nebraska; two sisters, Evelyn Piscitella and her husband, Mike of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Nelda Hooks and her husband, Steve of Golden, Colorado; three brothers-in-law, Larry Jones and his wife, Linda of Holdrege, Kim Jones and special friend, Linda Debban of Holdrege and Nathan Jones and his wife, Deb of Lingle, Wyoming; two sisters-in-law, Cathy Halbur and her special friend, Pat Renquist of Holdrege, and Corliss Stewart and her husband, Norman of rural Kearney, Nebraska. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents and one sister-in-law Lynn Jones.

There will be no visitation as the family is honoring Lonnie's wish for cremation.

Memorials are suggested to the family and will be designated at a later date.
