Luellen Jones

Private Memorial Graveside Services for LuEllen Jones will be held at the Minden Cemetery, Minden, Nebraska, at a later date.

LuEllen Jones, 83 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska, formerly of Minden, and Oxford, Nebraska, died on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Holdrege Memorial Homes.  LuEllen was born on November 7, 1937, in Minden, the youngest of five children, born to Willis H. and Sarah Maude (Crabtree) Jones.   She received her education from Minden Public Schools through the 8 ^th grade.

LuEllen enjoyed music, making latch hook rugs, loved watching Husker Football, and working on the computer.  She also enjoyed her family.  LuEllen attended the Christian Church in Minden and the First Baptist Church, when she lived in Oxford.

LuEllen was preceded in death by; her parents; two sisters:  Catherine (Kenneth) Maxon; and Eula (Earl) Dunlap; and two brothers:  Willis (Marian) Jones; and Jim Jones.

LuEllen leaves to celebrate her life; one sister-in-law, Maxine Jones of Holdrege; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and extended family.

The family is honoring her wish for cremation.  There will be no viewing or visitation.

A memorial has been established in LuEllen's honor and kindly suggested to Holdrege Memorial Homes in Holdrege.
