Lyndsay Ann (Hendricks) Bennetts, age 37, of Oxford, Nebraska passed away peacefully, exactly where and how she wanted, on March 26, 2019. After a long battle with cancer, she was ready to be with Jesus. She was the wife of Tony Bennetts. They shared 16 years of marriage together on September 12.
Born in Englewood, Colorado, on November 18, 1981, she was the daughter of Dennis and Gail Hendricks. She graduated from Englewood High School in 2000. After moving to Nebraska in 2011, Lyndsay was employed by Wilcox-Hildreth Public School as a Para-educator and After School Program Coordinator. She was a childcare provider at YMCA of the Prairie summer program, and most recently a Special Education Para-educator for Holdrege Public Schools.
Lyndsay enjoyed worshipping with her family and spent many years as a youth leader, camp counselor, Teammate, Girl Scouts and Awanas leader.
She enjoyed gardening with her husband, tie-dye, camping, traveling, playing games and spending time with family. Lyndsay will be remembered for her generous, loving heart, her love for Jesus and compassion for others especially children. She was outgoing and fun-loving, a fierce board game competitor, thoughtful women's retreat organizer, and a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend.
