Marjorie Le Ann Broman's life celebration will be held on October 10, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska, with Rev. Sylvia High Karlsson officiating.

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Marge Broman, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us on September 26, 2024, at 82 years old. Born to Orlin and Joyce (Saugstad) Erickson in Sioux City, Iowa on October 8, 1941, she was the oldest, the only girl, and survived her three younger brothers, Orvin, Rod, and Dale Erickson. Marge graduated from Alcester High School in South Dakota with the class of 1959, and shortly after, the whole family moved to Denver, Colorado. There, she met her husband of 61 years, Arthur Andrew Broman. On August 3, 1963, they were married in Wheat Ridge, Colorado; the couple later moved to the quiet area of Bertrand, Nebraska, where they made their home for 28 years.

Marge dedicated her early years to nurturing her three beloved sons (Steve, Mike, and Jason), creating a warm and loving home filled with laughter, adventure, and the delicious aromas of her cooking. Her family was her greatest joy, and she took pride in attending every sporting and school event, always cheering and offering her unwavering support.

After raising her children, Marge transitioned into a fulfilling 29-year career in the insurance industry at Junkin Insurance. Known for her kindness, detailed nature, and professionalism, she touched the lives of many, helping clients navigate life's challenges with compassion and expertise.

A passionate traveler, Marge explored all 50 states, cherished cruises, and trips to Europe with her sons creating memories that would last a lifetime.

At home, Marge found joy in tending to her beautiful garden. Her flower beds were a testament to her nurturing nature, bursting with color and life, much like her personality. Gardening was her therapy, where she could connect with nature and find peace.

Coffee was her ritual, and she treasured her moments spent with friends, sharing laughter and conversation over steaming mugs. Her warmth and genuine spirit drew people to her, impacting everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Marge is survived by her husband, Art of Holdrege; children: Steve and his wife, Karen of Dallas, Texas; Mike and his significant other, Jennifer, and three kids; Hanna, Jacob, and Abby of Kearney, Nebraska; Jason and his wife, Rosalie, and three kids; John Paul, Trixie, and Aiden of Kearney; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Marge will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she loved. Her spirit will live on in her family and friends she cherished and the countless lives she touched.

Memorials in Marge's honor are suggested to the family for a later designation.
