Graveside Services for Marvin G. Taylor will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stamford Cemetery at Stamford, Nebraska with Diana Lambson officiating.
Marvin G. Taylor, 69, of San Antonio, Texas, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 unexpectedly from complications of a massive stroke in a local hospital. Mr. Taylor was born on December 18, 1942 to Sammie and Evelyn (Hughes) Taylor in Konawa, Oklahoma.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1981 with the rank of Master Sergeant. He later worked as a civilian contractor at Randolph Air Force Base for more than 25 years.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Faye Bose Taylor of San Antonio; his daughter, Lynn Sheree Taylor of Austin, Texas; his sisters Gayle Lynn Redding and Jean Ann Worley; and his brother, Robert Taylor of Eufala, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his uncle John Henry Hughes of Lexington, Okla.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial has been established in his memory and will be designated at a later date.
