Mike Allen Seaton, 66 years of age, of Kearney, Nebraska, passed away, on March 7, 2022, at the CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney with family by his side. Mike was born in Andrews, Texas on December 29, 1955, the tenth of twelve children, born to Orville A. and Nellie Mae (Griffith) Seaton. He received his education from Noble Public Schools in Noble, Oklahoma. Born in Texas but Mike grew up in Oklahoma and started working for his father's company Seaton and Sons Construction and soon as he was able.

It was during a construction project in Nebraska that he met his future bride, Leatha Robinson. They were married on September 3, 1974 in Noble and to this union three children joined the family; Matthew, Kelli and Tausha.

During their 47 years of marriage the couple lived in Oklahoma and Nebraska. The family will always remember the trips to visit family and the card games, board games, and camping trips that followed.

Mike found the greatest joy in 1998 when he became a grandfather, he absolutely enjoyed the kids for the rest of his life. He showed them how to fish, hunt, cook and fix various things. During the summer you would always find a grandchild on his lap helping him mow the lawn. For the birth of each grandchild Mike planted a tree in his yard in their honor.

The family loved spending time with him; fishing, telling stories of his youth, and when his daughter would find out something new through genealogy, he would start talking about family history. He loved photography and was always taking pictures of local scenery.
